PART ONE: LECTURES

The Creative Arts DTS is about discovering the creative heart of God and the impact our abilities and passions can have on our communities and the nations.

We believe that every culture and medium can give glory to the creator, and will look at how our own stories and abilities can be a vessel of the Gospel.

Throughout the 12 week lecture phase you’ll have the opportunity to practice and grow in various expressions and mediums from photography, pottery, writing, and fine arts, as well as hear from local and international artists and creatives alongside your DTS community.

This elective is centered on being disciplers of the nations with our art and creative expression, and growing in intimacy with the God who created us in His image.

PART TWO: OUTREACH

We desire to always be ready and willing to serve and share the good news as we lead people into the presence of God.

For part two of your DTS you will partner with local and long-term missionaries in the field, meet the physical and spiritual needs of many, and take your place in completing The Great Commission. You will be assigned to a team with staff facilitation and still be keeping with the UofN Curriculum.

Be prepared to apply all you’ve learned during the lecture phase when you head out for cross-cultural missions and encounter God in a fresh way in the nations.

Outreach locations we focus on are Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands.
